Working with porcelain is challenging! It has a tendency to warp, crack and be unpredictable. But the rewards are worth the failures. Porcelain is smooth, translucent, delicate and very white. Glazes have a beautiful glass like consistency and it really makes colours pop.
My inspiration comes from texture and form. You will often see my pieces imprinted with vintage lace or hand-carved wood stamps. Touches of colour bring out the patterns while letting the pure white porcelain shine.
I specialise in creating personalised pieces to make your gift a special and memorable one. Initials added to a ring dish, a thoughtful message on an ornament or names and dates of a momentous occasion. I'm happy to work with you to create the perfect piece for you or a loved one.
